Are we truly doing enough as a community to advance the dialogue surrounding disclosure? Have we made a concerted effort to draw more attention to this important topic? I can’t recall many posts here that genuinely capture the potential impact we could have as a united group.<\/p>\n
Ideally, we should align our efforts with news that is already making waves in the media. Several opportunities may be on the horizon:<\/p>\n
It\u2019s less about which of these events seems most likely and more about how we can collectively engage as a community. Each of these events has the potential to reach a wider audience if we direct our efforts toward raising awareness.<\/p>\n
Here are a couple of suggestions:<\/p>\n
Street Art<\/strong> \u2013 Consider creating striking white posters with clear messages in a consistent style to display in major urban areas. Using inexpensive materials like wheat paste and A4 paper, we could affix these posters to walls and write our messages in bold lettering. This approach is relatively harmless and can easily be cleaned off. A coordinated campaign could effectively disrupt the news cycle, and we could repeat this at least 2-3 times before facing significant legal repercussions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Social Media Campaign<\/strong> \u2013 I would encourage those with expertise in this area to weigh in. Sharing and liking posts is helpful, but we might be able to implement additional strategies. If a major news event breaks, we should be ready to react within 12-24 hours. Preparation and coordination are key.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n Let\u2019s not underestimate our abilities or sit idly by as the disclosure process unfolds. We all feel frustrated, but how can we justify that frustration if we remain passive? We can’t. Let’s channel our energy into taking action.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
