Jake Barber<\/strong><\/p>\n

Is it considered hate speech in this community to say “Jake Barber is a liar and a fraud,” similar to what happened on r\/ufos? I aim for constructive discussions, and I’ve never insulted anyone. However, I truly doubt the credibility of what Barber claims.<\/p>\n

He has made false statements regarding his military service, which is easily verifiable. His DD-214 document clearly shows he should be classified as a Combat Controller; Special Warfare Airmen don\u2019t receive cover AFSCs.<\/p>\n

Additionally, he has claimed extensive combat experience in both Bosnia and Iraq. While I wasn\u2019t in the service during the Bosnia conflict, I enlisted after 9\/11. I can say with certainty that his accounts of combat in Iraq are misleading. The situation primarily involved NATO enforcing a no-fly zone, with some air-to-air engagements but no significant ground conflict.<\/p>\n

Another point I find puzzling is the lack of anyone from the combat control community stepping up to support Barber’s claims. Where are his former teammates? You would think someone would come forward and say, \u201cI was with Barber on Task Force Ripper in Bosnia, and he snored like crazy\u201d or something similar. But nothing of the sort has emerged. He receives endorsements from other \u201cex-spec ops guys,\u201d but where are the everyday patrol members who served alongside him?<\/p>\n

Lastly, Barber has stated that he contributed to the liberation of Kuwait in 1994. While we could debate the precise moments of liberation, military campaigns have clear start and end dates. Anyone on active duty claiming involvement in the liberation of Kuwait outside of the Desert Storm\/Shield context would likely be viewed as disingenuous.<\/p>\n

To be fair, all I\u2019m asserting is that his military service claims are verifiably false. He might be honest about everything else. I\u2019m not dismissing the possibility that UAPs are more complex than we understand; at the end of the day, everything is interconnected, especially in terms of consciousness. However, I prioritize finding the truth and spotting red flags, and blatant dishonesty about one\u2019s military service certainly raises a red flag for me.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
