As I pointed out the beauty to my girlfriend, I noticed three dim lights aligned in a straight line beneath the moon (located mid-high in the west). Suddenly, they swooped down, accelerated north at an astonishing speed, executed a 270\u00b0 turn in about 1.5 seconds, then shot straight up at a steep 45\u00b0 angle before vanishing.<\/p>\n<p>In the midst of my astonishment and shouting, \u201cWHAT THE F*** IS THAT?\u201d, I tried to rationalize what I was seeing. I first thought, \u201cCould that be a jet?\u201d but the night was eerily silent, with only distant plane sounds in the background. It didn\u2019t behave like a jet either. Then I wondered, \u201cIs it a drone?\u201d However, it clearly moved in a way that a drone simply couldn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>When it made that sharp turn, I even entertained the idea of it being a bird reflecting light from the moon, but then it shot upwards with such incredible speed that I was left in disbelief. There\u2019s no ordinary explanation for this sighting. I stayed outside for an additional 40 minutes, hoping to catch another glimpse, but nothing appeared. <\/p>\n<p>What I witnessed last night was far from normal.
