Object Falls from Sky in Utah<\/p>\n
While driving down Brighton Canyon in Salt Lake City around 10:50 PM on February 28, 2025, I noticed a bright white light suspended in the sky. It was noticeably larger and brighter than the other stars. Just about five seconds after I spotted it, the light suddenly plummeted toward the ground. I\u2019ve tried to figure out what it could have been, but I\u2019m puzzled. My first thought was a drone, but it was flying at an altitude similar to an airplane and appeared quite large. The speed and descent angle of the object make that seem unlikely. It felt so real that I even started searching for news about a plane crash. I also considered the possibility of a meteor, but the fact that the light was stationary in the sky first seems strange. It appeared to fall deep into the mountains around the Brighton ski resort.
