They\u2019re allegedly capturing \u201cpilots\u201d of these crafts, interrogating them to understand their origins, and developing defense systems against potential alien threats.<\/p>\n

Now, doesn\u2019t this seem like a rational and responsible response for humanity when faced with a vastly superior extraterrestrial civilization? Shouldn\u2019t we be looking for ways to protect ourselves from possible alien threats?
