How are my fellow atheists feeling about the connections between UAPs, consciousness, and spirituality? <\/p>\n
I grew up in a non-religious household and took the time to learn about the history of religions, particularly the three Abrahamic faiths. Ultimately, I concluded that religion is a human construct that once served a purpose but isn’t necessary in today\u2019s world. I believe that our time here is meant for enjoyment, experiencing life to the fullest, and leaving behind a legacy.<\/p>\n
With the recent disclosures about UAPs, discussions around spirituality have resurfaced. I\u2019m open to the idea that individuals like Jake Barber are sharing valid spiritual experiences. Years ago, I experimented with substances and had a profound encounter with Salvia. For the first time, I grasped, as an atheist, that there might be a spiritual dimension to our reality. I felt as if I was being drawn up toward a massive ship, and everything I had known in my life felt insignificant in comparison. Just as I was on the brink of something greater, I began to fall back and returned to my body. I didn’t know what to call it then, but it now feels reminiscent of an out-of-body experience.<\/p>\n
This leads me to ponder the possible connections between religion and non-human intelligence (NHI). Whether these beings coexist on our planet or originate from other galaxies is another topic altogether. I\u2019ve always thought it more plausible that our ancestors mistook aliens for gods or angels rather than the image of a bearded man in the clouds. Could it be that NHI have influenced our cultural beliefs and history? Did they attempt to teach us about consciousness and spirituality through practices like prayer, meditation, and religion?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
