I have an intriguing story from my childhood that I’d love your thoughts on. <\/p>\n

Every summer since I was a kid, I’ve spent time in Ikaria, Greece, enjoying the peacefulness of the sea and the incredible night sky, free from light pollution. Around the age of 12, while attending a beach wedding one August night, I found myself gazing at the stars around 2:00 a.m. That’s when I noticed something unusual. <\/p>\n

I saw a disc-shaped object with green octagonal lights moving silently above me, less than 300 meters away. It appeared to be gliding at a relatively low speed, heading straight toward the open water. I can’t explain what I witnessed\u2014it definitely wasn’t a plane or a helicopter. Given the island’s remoteness, helicopters are rarely seen unless there’s an emergency. Normally, air traffic in that area is quite minimal. <\/p>\n
