If they effectively hide their operations behind shell corporations, they can remain concealed indefinitely, allowing them to develop advanced technologies that would seem like magic to the outside world.<\/p>\n<p>If they were to acquire a landmass, such as an island, they could further enhance their secrecy, possibly even establishing underground or underwater facilities.<\/p>\n<p>All it would take is one significant technological breakthrough that they chose to keep under wraps.
