Despite many inquiries and pressures from friends and associates, Bender refused to reveal what he had discovered. It wasn’t until ten years later, in his book “Flying Saucers and the Three Men,” that he disclosed experiencing encounters with three supernatural figures in black who shared profound truths about UFOs and their purpose here\u2014an endeavor that stemmed from the IFSB’s attempts to make contact with extraterrestrial life.<\/p>\n

Here’s what took place in 1953:<\/p>\n

The IFSB chose March 15, 1953, to be Contact Day, instructing members globally to memorize and mentally recite a specific message at the same moment. The message was as follows:<\/p>\n

\u201cCalling occupants of interplanetary craft! Calling occupants of interplanetary craft that have been observing our planet EARTH. We of IFSB wish to make contact with you. We are your friends, and would like you to make an appearance here on EARTH. Your presence before us will be welcomed with the utmost friendship. We will do all in our power to promote mutual understanding between your people and the people of EARTH. Please come in peace and help us in our EARTHLY problems. Give us some sign that you have received our message. Be responsible for creating a miracle here on our planet to wake up the ignorant ones to reality. Let us hear from you. We are your friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

On that day, after the group recited the message, Bender experienced a severe headache and a strange smell of burning sulfur in his room. He lost consciousness and was later awakened by a voice informing him:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have been watching you and your activities. Please be advised to discontinue delving into the mysteries of the universe. We will make an appearance if you disobey.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bender responded: \u201cWhy aren\u2019t you friendly to us, as we do not mean to do any harm to you?\u201d<\/p>\n

Voice: \u201cWe have a special assignment and must not be disturbed by your people. We are among you and know your every move, so please be advised we are here on your Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
