It also inspired me to ask a question of my own.<\/p>\n
Do you think you’ve witnessed a UAP, UFO, orb, plasmoid, or any other unusual phenomenon with your own eyes? Have you faced skepticism from others about your experience?<\/p>\n
While I’m not a UFO enthusiast, I know it\u2019s a popular topic right now. I own a telescope and have always had an interest in astronomy. I’m somewhat familiar with the James Webb Space Telescope’s findings and the recent discussions about an “alien armada” heading our way, but I didn’t dwell on it much when I first heard.<\/p>\n
What struck me about my ‘sightings’ post was how quickly many dismissed my experience. (Shout out to the mods\u2014this community is definitely an eclectic bunch!) Some people brushed it off as a balloon or claimed it didn\u2019t exhibit any unusual movement, making it \u201cnothing.\u201d However, a few individuals took the time to engage and share their thoughts. It seems that many consider themselves experts on the unknown, while the truth is that no one can fully grasp what exists around us or how things operate in the vast universe. We’re not all-knowing. As a professional skeptic, I recognize the value of critical thinking.<\/p>\n
I could be mistaken, but I imagine that being called a conspiracy theorist, especially when you’re simply sharing evidence (however subjective), can be incredibly frustrating. Perhaps this sub has its fair share of UFO skeptics. Regardless, I know what I saw with my own eyes, and it was not a balloon. The experience felt much closer and more impactful than what an iPhone video can convey. I don\u2019t need external validation\u2014I\u2019m confident in what I witnessed. To anyone else who has encountered something inexplicable and been dismissed, I see you and I believe you. We don\u2019t have to identify what it was to acknowledge that it exists.<\/p>\n
