Earlier today, I shared a \u2018sightings\u2019 video and, for the first time, ventured into the UFO subreddit. It was an eye-opening experience, and it got me thinking of a deeper question: <\/p>\n
Do you believe you have witnessed a UAP, UFO, orb, plasmoid, or any other unusual activity with your own eyes? Have your experiences ever been doubted by others?<\/p>\n
While I wouldn’t consider myself a UFO enthusiast, I recognize that it’s a hot topic right now. I have a telescope and an interest in astronomy, so I’ve kept up with the news about James Webb telescope findings and the possibility of an “alien armada” approaching Earth. However, I didn’t give it much thought until today.<\/p>\n
One thing I found intriguing about the response to my \u2018sightings\u2019 post was how quickly many dismissed my experience. Big thanks to the moderators\u2014this community is quite diverse! Some people brushed it off as just a balloon or assumed it couldn\u2019t be anything unusual since it wasn\u2019t moving in a specific way. A few others engaged more thoughtfully, but it seems that many feel like experts on the unknown. Yet, none of us can claim to know everything about what exists in the universe or how entities we\u2019ve never seen might behave. As a professional skeptic, I know the value of critical thinking.<\/p>\n
I can imagine how frustrating it must be when evidence is disregarded, especially when it doesn\u2019t come from firsthand accounts. Perhaps there are UFO skeptics in this subreddit; I\u2019m not sure. But I know what I saw with my own eyes, and it wasn\u2019t a balloon. It was much closer than my iPhone video could capture. I don\u2019t seek validation\u2014I trust my own observations. To all the fellow eyewitnesses out there who\u2019ve experienced dismissal, I see you, and I believe you. We don\u2019t need to identify what we saw to affirm that whatever it was, it does exist. <\/p>\n
While I\u2019m here, I\u2019ll share some other videos I\u2019ve taken, which I haven\u2019t posted before. I\u2019m not looking for critique; I simply want to share what I observed for those who are curious. <\/p>\n
