I was 16, and she was 13 at the time.  <\/p>\n<p>We observed the UFO hovering above a redwood tree, seemingly observing or collecting samples. It emitted lights and appeared to be aware of our presence before it suddenly sped off to the east, completely silent.  <\/p>\n<p>Has anyone else experienced a sighting around this date and time?
