Take Ridley Scott&#8217;s <em>Alien<\/em>, for instance; despite its abstract and eerie design, there&#8217;s still a hint of a human-like shape.<\/p>\n<p>This raises an interesting question: How can we design an alien species or race that is devoid of human traits or characteristics?
