When I pressed on whether he had ever seen anything unusual in the sky, he shared a story from his deployment in Syria. During a routine patrol in an F-18 with another jet, they spotted something approaching them that exhibited maneuvers consistent with reports of physics-defying behavior\u2014no visible propulsion, just incredible speed and agility. He mentioned that no formal report was ever filed, but he emphasized that pilots with combat experience often have similar stories of strange sightings. It\u2019s surprisingly common, though still stigmatized. His theory was that it\u2019s likely \u201cblack\u201d technology that hasn\u2019t been revealed to the public yet.<\/p>\n
